The SLNIW

The Centre for Enterprise Development and Regional Economy
(CEDRE) has extensive expertise amongst its academic
and research staff, in a wide range of disciplines.
The centre is well resourced to be a key force in supporting,
promoting and developing entrepreneurship in the region.

The over-riding objective of CEDRE is the development
of entrepreneurship education and research. In educating
and developing entrepreneurs and business owners, as
well as policy makers and business advisors, CEDRE aims
to position itself at the forefront of entrepreneurial
activity in the region.

The School of Management and Business (SMB) is research-led,
reflecting the values of Aberystwyth University. SMB
are committed to developing research that is unique,
relevant and applicable to a management, business or
finance environment.
SMB are committed to ensuring that research activities
and publications are of international importance offering
business, management and finance solutions that can
be applied across sectors, cultures and discipline areas.
SMB hosts the Centre for Local and Regional Enterprise
which provides a focus for regional economic and business
development. Research themes include sustainability,
enterprise and regional development policy.
